i will not go into detail about how these stadiums have been chosen, but suffice to say they are simply not representative of the full range of stadiums thatfifa 99has. if anything, they are closer to the real life versions than some of the ones featured in the game. another thing that got people upset was the number of cities that are not covered at all, or covered with a small stadium or with a road stadium or with a tiny, tiny stadium. fortunately, for the most part, the stadiums are very good. some of the worst ones are even on the european cup, and i don't even live there. the stadium overall is very detailed, so the small number of places for which you have to travel a long distance don't really bother you. plus, the stadiums are mostly very good, so you don't even need to go all the way to see the ones in your own town. that said, though, i am a bit disappointed that the stadium i have been the most excited about -- east berlin -- does not exist in the game. i think you can see why they picked those 11 stadiums, of course. perhaps there will be a patch to add the ones missing at some point in the future.
